      Please note:  Payments must be received on or before February 29, 2012
      Postmarks are not accepted.
      For proper processing, you must include the lower portion of the tax notice.
      If a receipt is required, include the top portion.  It will be stamped paid and returned by mail.

Tax Collection at Township Hall
     Taxes may be paid at the Township Hall from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on
      Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (excluding Holidays).
      Extended hours:  9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.          Friday, December 30, 2011
                                                                                   Wednesday, February 29, 2012

Payments from Escrow Accounts
      If your taxes are paid from an escrow account, please send them a copy of your
      tax notice.

Deferments
      Senior Citizens, Veterans, and Disabled persons - If you are eligible to have your
      taxes deferred until April 30, 2012.  Please send a copy of your completed
      Michigan Homestead Property Tax Credit form to the address above.  The form
      must be received by February 1, 2012.

Past Due Summer Taxes
     Contact Sodus Township Hall for Tax plus interest due.    (269) 926-6285.

Delinquent Taxes
     Summer and Winter 2011 taxes which are not paid by 5:00 p.m. February 29, 2012
     are delinquent and must be paid to the Berrien County Treasurer.  Please contact
     County for amount due.   (269) 983-7111 ext. 8569.

Dog Licenses
      If purchasing at the Township Hall, please bring the Dog License Renewal Notice
      and all pertinent documentation from your Veterinarian.
