Sodus Township Summer 2026 Property Tax Information & Important Dates

 

Township Location:           4056 King Drive, Sodus, Michigan

Collection Dates:              July 1, 2026 - September 14, 2026     

Treasurer Office Hours:     Monday through Friday 9 am to 2 pm

Extended Hours:               Monday, September 14, 2026, 9 am to 5 pm

Check Payable to:             Sodus Township

Mail checks to:                  Sodus Township Treasurer, PO Box 176, Sodus, MI 49126

Receipts:                           If you would like a receipt when mailing your payment or using the drop box, please include a self-                  addressed/stamped envelope.  When paying in person, please bring in your entire bill, so it may be stamped PAID.

Postmarks:                        Postmarks ARE NOT accepted as a payment date, allow 7 days.

Drop Box:                         On premises, located by the entry door of the Townhall behind the Ballot Box. Available 24/7.

By Appointment:             Need to pay in person other than times listed above contact the Treasurer.

Partial Payments:            Are allowed in any amount, during the collections period. No arrangement necessary.  Please note the              BALANCE must be paid by September 14th by 5pm (including drop box) to avoid interest charges.

Summer Tax Deferments:  Application is available online at www.sodustwp.org

Escrow Accounts:           Tax notices will be mailed directly to the mortgage company. You will receive a duplicate copy with an             “Information Purposes” message on the stub. If you receive a regular bill, please contact your mortgage company for their                  policies and procedures.
